This is Bridget. She was a purebred German Shepherd bought to guard our home in rural Tennessee. She ended up being the sweetest dog I’ve ever known (we always joked that if someone broke into our house she’d lick them to death). I think in another life, if we had more money, she could have been a show dog. She loved to run and explore the woods in our backyard. She always let our miniature schnauzer eat before her and didn’t mind when our cats bothered her. Eventually her body gave out about two years ago and we had to put her down. To this day she is still the sweetest and most beautiful dog my family has seen. -Jewel
