You may or may not be aware that I offer certain training services online! Because of my recent financial hole I’m bringing some prices down and putting this offer out there to those of you who seem to enjoy my dog rambling. There are obvious limitations to what can be done via the Internet, but for other things it can be invaluably helpful at lower price point.

My specialties are Pet Manners (particularly loose leash walking and adolescent problems), teaching Competition Obedience/Rally to beginners, Fear/Anxiety issues, Problem Prevention in puppies and new to you dogs, and dog-dog interactions, but my experience stretches wider than that.
PLEASE BE SUPER CLEAR ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON/WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS. I will not take your money for a situation I can’t address in this format or isn’t something I’m familiar enough with to comment on (please don’t ask me about agility because my handling is so bad and just no). If you’re not up front about any issues being presented it will waste both of our time and be money spent on me telling you to go to a local in-person professional.
Some of the things I offer are:
Video Review! Have a video of a training session, a run at a trial, a behavior your dog does, a dog introduction or play date/group, something you are having a hard time teaching your dog that you would like an outside professional opinion on? I can do that! You will get a second by second analysis of what I see and some suggestions for moving forward. Prices start at $15 for anything less than 5 minutes of video and go up slightly from there. If you want additional suggestions or training plans on top of the analysis and suggestions given, that will also up the price a bit.
Skype Sessions! We can talk “face to face” about what’s going on with your dog. This can include anything from teaching a new skill, fixing a broken one, or modifying behavior on a case by case basis. You get my full and undivided attention for an hour, personalized help from the comfort of your home, and a emailed outline of our session and information give at the end. This is great for brainstorming about something you’re having trouble teaching because I can give you “real time” feedback on mechanics/timing and suggestions for a different approach if needed. We can hammer out a desensitization/modification plan for things like nail trimming, car phobias, equipment aversion, house training, etc. in a way that is personalized to you and your dog’s needs. It’s also wonderful for addressing holes in foundation skills or even coming up with a “where do we go from here?” plan if you’re stuck at a certain point with a skill or want some ideas to continue your training. These sessions are $75 for the full hour and subsequent summary email.
Dog/Breed Selection! Need help determining if a certain dog or breed fits your lifestyle? Want a dog but have no idea where to start? You found your breed but don’t know how to locate a responsible breeder or rescue/don’t think they’ll give you the time of day? I can help with all of those things and more. Pricing depends on level of involvement and how much personalized help you’re looking for. For the full package offering from my stupidly long breed selection questionnaire to helping you find your breeder, I’m bringing the cost down to $150.
