This is very true. Pancreatitis almost always comes from bacon, ham, sausage, and grease. It also can be fatal in the most extreme cases. If it’s not good for you, its not good for your dog!
It’s not my intent to single anyone out (even though I am,) but you should make it a rule to not feed your dog bacon. Once or twice a month may not kill them, but regular feeding of high-fat, salty foods is the worst diet for your canine. Speaking as a former vet-tech, I’ve treated dozens of dogs with intense vomiting/diarrhea that was directly linked to foods such as pork. In cases where they regularly ate such kinds of food they developed pancreatitis. And fast. ESPECIALLY among small dogs.
