Smiling Dogs

We have a jack russel, and long story short, we had a contract with the original breeder for her to have one litter the breeder could keep. She had to stay at the breeder’s for a while, the time to give birth and for the puppies to be old enough, but we found out the breeder was underfeeding her about when it was time for us to come and get her. We slowly gave her back her original weight (she was so thin!), but since, she’s kind of obsessed with her food. (1/2)

She used to be so reasonable, eating only what she wanted and leaving the rest for later, but now she keeps asking for more and more, eats grass when we’re outside and even eats garbage if we don’t pay enough…

My staffy x just cannot seem to get along with other dogs, she’s a 2 year old rescue pup and is beautiful and friendly when it comes to people and cats but other dogs just send her into aggressive barking madness. We took her to puppy school but it didn’t seem to help heaps. Any other suggestions?

Talk to a behaviourist. It would be irresponsible of us to give you advice regarding dog aggression online.  Sorry we can’t be more help! Good luck anon – C

Food question- what do you think of the brand "Crave"? I’ve searched but never seen it mentioned in any posts and I was wondering where it ranks on food types (I know its not "high"-but I’m hoping it could be mid/sustainable as I’ve been using it for a year on my Shepherd). Assuming its not, any dog foods that you’d consider quality/decent that could be used by large dogs and doesn’t break the bank?

Dogfoodadvisor.com rates Crave Dog Food (Dry) at 5 stars! You can see the details here, and the details on their rating system is here. -C
