My dog mostly ignores me in the day, but if my parents go out so we are alone at night he sticks to me like glue. As in, he refuses to go to sleep unless we are curled up together. If I move so I’m not touching him, he wakes up and shifts closer. Like, I love him and I like him paying attention to me, but it feels like he doesn’t trust me home alone? And if I go into the bathroom or something he just lies by the front door whining until I come out. I don’t know how to make him feel better

Sounds more like separation anxiety than mistrust. He just wants your parents to come home!

Sometimes I take my dogs (both dachshunds) to the dog park for a change of environment. My younger dog is a little high-strung and he will bark at any people or dog he sees, and he growls and bares his teeth when a dog tries to socialize with him. As someone who is financially not in a place to have a dog at the moment, what do you think is a realistic goal to work towards? Like how much money (like per month) should one be able to spend on dog stuff? Hi, I don’t know if you or your followers might be able to point me in the right direction? My lab/border collie mix has been itching a lot lately. She has dry skin, since I’ve gotten her she’s had dandruff. My neighbor recommended vitamins. I’ve treated for fleas,etc. She’s itching so bad she’s irritated her skin on her back legs and it’s very red, maybe bleeding. It’s so bad suddenly and I don’t know how to help her. I feel like the worst dog owner! Any help at all would be just so great!

It sounds like you need to try a different kind of food! Either higher quality, or different ingredients. Your vet should definitely be in the loop to make sure there isnā€™t any underlying illness.

Hi, I have two (brothers) short tailed pointer breed dogs (small-med size with full white coats and brown/Choco/caramel coloring/spots). One, the runt, seems to have bowl issues, or at least a smaller everything, bladder, stomach, etc., since his brother is about twice as big as him. What do you recommend for when the lil one needs to go out to pee at night? Karma (the cutie with the Tigger hat on) is absolutely beautiful! But I’ve never seen a pitty get that big at 4 months old. Do you know the exact breed? I LOVE giant puppies.

Tbh, I have a tough time recognizing pure bred pit bulls because there are so many mixes out there. Karma looks too wrinkly and jowly to be a pit bull, but I think @pulldogs can provide better input?
