Taking care of a senior and/or rescue dog is the best gift you can give. I adopted my boy 5 years ago on Christmas, and he’s the best gift I’ve ever had. He’s 10 now and has his share of “old man” health issues. But he’s a loving dog and my best friend!! We walk a little slower and less far, but he’s happy and reasonably healthy. If you can, adopt a shelter or rescue dog, and if you can’t then please donate time or supplies to a group. The animals will thank you!
