This is my baby Lyra. She loves chasing after her ball and going to the park. I adopted her from a rescue one year ago. She was put in a high-kill shelter after being found abandoned in someone’s backyard. She had almost no human contact for the first few months of her life until animal control took her to the shelter. The rescue I adopted her from saved her from being put down. Lyra is only a year old and such a sweetie. She’s very intelligent too. For the past year I’ve been working on building her confidence and teaching her that the world isn’t such a scary place.
